Anna Tomlinson was appointed as Chief Executive of Cardiomyopathy UK in March 2025. Anna has over 20 years of experience in the charitable, healthcare, and professional services sectors and has held senior leadership positions at Genomics England and LifeArc.
Cardiomyopathy UK is the national charity for anyone affected by the heart muscle disease, cardiomyopathy. The charity provides information and support for thousands of patients and families across the UK as well as educational resources and conferences for medical professionals. Their vision is for everyone affected by cardiomyopathy to lead long and fulfilling lives.
Anna chairs the Cureheart Global Patient Engagement Board for CureHeart, a resource which aims to ensure that the global patient community is engaged with the project and that the insights of people with cardiomyopathy, from a wide range of countries, are fed into all aspects of the project.
